Solenoid is an ongoing body of work comprising photography, film, and poetry. It is a reflection upon one’s awakening and healing journey, largely based on my personal history with the condition of Epilepsy. I have wished to share my sense of a world flipped upside-down, seen through a new pair of eyes.
Following the diagnosis and its slow resolve to find a routine in which I could feel safe, and able to evolve within my challenged routine, I became increasingly sensitive to color, light, and patterns found in my daily surroundings.
